Here is the list of healthy snacks which you can enjoy in your weight loss journey.

1) Banana and peanut butter

Banana and peanut butter sushi are perfect for your evening and mid-meal snack.

They are full of protein. They are low in calories and also fulfill your sushi cravings

what you’ll need?

  • 1 tablespoon of Peanut butter
  • 1 banana

How to make?

1) Cut the banana in thick slices

2) Spread peanut butter into banana slices

3) Enjoy your yummy yet healthy snack!

2) Energy balls

Energy balls are another delicious and healthy snack if you have a sweet tooth then these energy balls are perfect for you. You can enjoy these energy balls with no guilt.

In my early weight loss days when I used to feel low, I used to take 1 to 2 energy balls in a day, these energy balls helps me to energize my body for the whole day.

So, you can also enjoy these energy balls in a snack time or you can also take these in your breakfast

What you’ll need?

  • A half cup of Almonds
  •  a half cup of Walnuts
  • 3 tbsp Coconut powder
  • 3 tbsp Cocoa powder
  • one cup  of Dates
  • 1/2 tsp of Vanilla essence

Method

  1. Add all the above ingredients in a chopper, Chop them until it combined.
  2. Make round balls from the mixture
  3. And here is your healthy energy balls are ready to eat

3) Yogurt with fruits and nuts

This healthy snack is easy to make and very filling.

Method:

Add your favorite fruits and nuts in fat-free yogurt and enjoy.

4) Chickpeas salad

Chickpeas salad is my all-time favorite healthy snack.

Here is a recipe of chickpeas salad the way I make

Ingredients:

  • One small onion
  • One small tomato
  • 2 green chilies
  • Mint leaves
  • 2 cups of chickpeas
  • 3 tbsp of fat-free yogurt

Spices:

  • 1 teaspoon of cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of red chili powder
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Add all the above ingredients in a saucepan
  2. Add a cup of water and cook until everything is cooked and water dried
  3. Then let it be cool
  4. Serve your chickpeas salad in a bowl and add 3 tbsp of fat-free yogurt, mix them well.
  5. Your chickpeas salad is ready.

5) Air popped popcorn

Air popped popcorn is another healthy snack.you can enjoy in your weight loss journey along with a cup of sugar-free coffee

6) Hummus

Hummus is another great healthy snack idea, and it also satisfies your hunger and prevents you from overeating.

hummus is also a great addition to a healthy diet.

What you’ll need?

  • chickpeas(according to your need)
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • Chickpeas water
  • 1  tbsp of fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp of tahini
  • 1/2 tsp of black pepper
  • 5 to 6 cloves of fresh garlic
  • salt to taste

Method:

Put everything in a blender and blend it and, here is your delicious hummus is ready.

7) Dates smoothie

when I was in my weight loss phase I used to take lots of smoothies as a snack.

Dates smoothie is my one of favorite smoothie.

What you’ll need?

  • 3 dates
  • 1 tbsp. of honey
  • One cup of skim milk

Method:

Blend all the ingredients above and your yummy healthy smoothie is ready

 8) Roasted chickpeas

They are very low in calories and tasty to eat, they are also very filling

You can enjoy a handful of roasted chickpeas with a cup of tea for your evening snack.

9) Healthy kale chips

Kale chips are another healthy and nutritious snack.

They are also very low in calories

What you’ll need?

  1. A bunch of Kale
  2. 2 tbsp. Coconut virgin oil
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Black pepper to taste

Method:

  1. Wash the kale, cut the small stems, cut them into small pieces
  2. Heat coconut virgin oil in a frying pan
  3. Put the cut kale, stir them well
  4. Add salt and black pepper to taste
  5. fry the kale until it becomes crispy
  6. Your guilt-free crispy healthy kale chips are ready to serve

10) Almonds

Almonds are perfect for a healthy diet. They are low in carbs and full of fiber and protein.

Eating a handful of almonds in an evening snack makes you feel fuller and you avoid overeating in dinner.

11) Watermelon

Watermelon is an excellent choice for snack time regardless of whether you are on a diet or not because it is high in vitamin A and vitamin C and minerals.

Apart from its benefits it’s also has a negative point it’s high in sugar so, try to eat watermelon in moderate.

12) Cucumber

Cucumber is high in fiber and low in calories which makes them the ideal food for weight loss.

Note: Most common mistake people made in the diet is that they overeat on healthy snacks which make them gain more weight. So, always remember portion control is a must even for healthy food.
